You are new to the Akamodell WordPress homepage and want to edit the pages. Thank you for your help!

There are some things to know:
1. You can edit all pages. Please keep in mind that this is our official homepage. Don’t make too much nonsense and keep to our Satzung (non political, mititary or confessional goals)
2. All Changes go to an admin who will have a short view over the page before publishing it. it WON’T be online immediately. But you can see your changes as long as you are logged in to your account!
3. If you do a lot of changes, just write a short comment in the Akamodell Whattsapp-group. The Admin will publish the changes as soon as you tell them you are done.

4. Please give ALL pictures a Media Category. it makes it easier to find the pictures again!

Known bugs:
– It seems that the media upload (e.g. pictures) in the page editor doesn#t work sometimes.
You can upload mediafiles via the instructions further down.

Editing a page

This is your homescreen after logging in.

click on Akamodell München (top left) to go to the Page. Navigate to the Subpage you want to change.

click on „revisionize“ in the top menu

make all the changes you want.

you can switch between the WP-Notation („Text“) or the visual editor. Be aware that not all features are available in the visual editor. But it should be enough for smaller changes.

You can save your changes regularly. they won’t be published yet.

If you are done with your changes, you can submit your draft to the admin. the admin will look it over and make the changes public.

Creating different pages for english/german

if you want to create a page in english, just switch to the english page. If english is empty: only the german Version is shown!

Adding Media

navigate to the media tab, click „add files“

Upload your files. Afterwards klick on „Edit“ for every uploaded file.

Give every file a name that describes the file. And most important: Link it to a media category on the right side of the screen. There is a category for every project!
This way it is easier to find the relevant pictures again!

If you want you can (should) add some more information under the picture. That is possible in both languages as well.
